Bluebird Hills Dippin Dot is a huacaya female born to suri parents. Her birth forced her father into early retirement from serving as a suri herdsire. She is white with a few fawn spots making her very likely to throw color if she is bred to a solidly colored male. These spots combined with a favorite Cincinnati Reds Baseball park snack of our kids won her this name.
Dippin Dot is a very sweet and easy going yearling and comes with her male cria sired by DF Peruvian Rico Suave, an incredible male with fiber stats that would make a cria envious. His AFD at age 7 is 17.1 (At Age 7, Rico's histogram-- AFD 17.1, SD 3.3, CV 19.3, <30 0.4%).
Conformationally she is correct, but her fleece characteristics need improving, and Rico showed that he is capable of improving the fleece, for the little male he sired is showing an incredible fleece. She has a soft handle, but lacks in density and architecture, both of which her male at side has!
Dippin Dot's dam is ATV Aurora, and her father is Dakota's Cody. Both mother and father are white, but Dakota's sire was black, which explains the fawn spots, so she could be bred to color in the future.
